These Turkish tumblers are essentially elongated versions of the gourd mugs I make. The slight belly thrown tall & slender enough to fit the curves of a hand makes for the perfect drinking vessel as well as a lovely small vase.
The name and shape of these tumblers are inspired by sets of espresso cups popular in Turkey but they're also essentially just elongated versions of my barrel mugs with a belly slender enough to fit in the hand nicely.
Its a deceivingly simple shape but boy do they feel good to hold when they're right.
