Waisted Mug

Named after the swoop at the bottom I refer to as the waist, this wonderful little mug will make any morning drink all the more enjoyable.
I saw little mugs of this shape a fair amount during my trip visiting pottery’s around England. I honestly didn’t think much of it at first and would kind of avoid using them, preferring one of the other stunning mugs available, but then someone brought me a cup of tea I pretty quickly realized my mistake. The one finger handle and the gentle curve of the wall, especially when warmed by a nice cup of tea… oh boy they’re just devine to hold. After that day these became some of my favorite mugs to use during my trip and now I’ve been making them for years
