Plump, elegant, comfortable mug. I spent many, many hours throwing this shape during my apprenticeship with Mark Hewitt. Despite being just a mug its one of the most difficult shapes I make, but it’s so worth spending the time to get it right.

This mug was dipped in a slip made from Michfeild clay sourced from Asheboro, NC. The inside & rim are glazed with my ashglaze made with granite sourced from Sanford, NC and woodash from my woodstove. It was fired for 120 hours in the 5th firing of my Three Springs woodkiln

Capacity 16+ oz
