A classic 8oz Mug, deceivingly simple, it’s always a pleasurable day when I get to throw these little elegant sweeties.
This mug has a local granite glaze on the rim, flowing down during the heat of the firing where it was caught by a horizontal line and gathered into a thick beautiful green. The side of the mug facing the firebox during its 120 hour firing got so hot, it started turning grey with subtle dusting of wood ash creating a wonderful surface.
