Covered Pitcher (.5/gal)

$165.00

Unintentionally inspired by old school coffee boilers, I wanted to make a type of covered pitcher and thought the medieval pitcher shape I already make could be altered slightly to accommodate a lid. After making my first batch and feeling good about my new creativity, I was walking around a museum and ended up looking at a mock up of an old kitchen, only to realize after a few minutes that a metal version of the covered pitchers I started making was sitting there next to the fake fire. While I’m still quite pleased with my variation of the shape, I do have to admit to myself there was less creative inspiration and more of a forgotten memory of a coffee kettle that inspired me.

Perfect for a hefty coffee pour over or a lovely batch of ice tea.

This covered Pitcher entered the woodkiln with a bare surface, getting its unique coloring from the journey through the molten atmosphere of a 2300+ degree wood flame.

Height 10”

Width 5.5”

Capacity 58 fl oz
